Is typewriting more resources-demanding than handwriting in undergraduate students?

The present study investigated cognitive effort of handwriting and typing undergraduate students. In Experiment 1, we used a secondary reaction time task to assess the required by undergraduates when carrying out copying tasks. Students had longer times, indicating greater effort, than handwriting. experiments 2a 2b, whether additional cost affected an ongoing activity.
